Maybe Univision doesn’t want the grays. So they might’ve had a program written to automatically do it for all users.

That would be nice. I’ve personally only ever seen the grays as the greatest hypocracy of the Gawkerverse. I mean, I understand the original intent, but it quickly became censorship of the worst kind.
